Magnesium (Mg)
Magnesium is the only macronutrient made in organic form by Quali Tech. Magnesium has an important role in
neuromuscular activity, is required in cell respiration, a key component of bone and is primary in preventing
tetany in cattle. It is the interrelationship of magnesium and calcium to potassium that determines the animal's
status in acquiring tetany. Research shows that magnesium is most effective if fed during grazing of lush, early
growth range or wheat pastures for prevention of grass tetany and to lactating cows which have a high requirement
for magnesium.
